Game Den - Spanish Fork

This game store has a good volume, especially for Magic: the Gathering. Because of that, the sorting still has a long journey to know what it needs. The owner is very helpful though, and has a great selection of basic lands for purchasing as well. I still come here to check for cards I need in deck building and more lands when they’re needed!

Was going through bulk and found a fake Pokemon card that normally would be $30. Gave it to employee and let them know that it was fake. They then went on to say under their breath “is it fake enough that I still can’t sell it for money though”. If a card is fake you should be getting rid of it. Also they sold me a very obviously fake card (partial my fault not to look closer but I was in a hurry). I only noticed on the way home when looking at it closer. Did have lots of bulk to look through and found some stuff I needed. Store could be organized way better and cleaned a bit.

I stopped in and talked to the Owner (his name is Joe). He was very helpful, I enjoyed my experience and could see this place was more about playing games than selling them, Which I prefer personally. Great selection and no pressure. I was surprised to see 1 star reviews from awhile back so I thought I'd add my recent experience to the mix.

From the second we walked in the staff made sure to ask us if we needed any help and if they could find anything specific for us. They have a decent selection of board games not a ton but enough. They have an extremely impressive collection of Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Star wars cards. There is a table of stuff dedicated to what is listed online but one table out of 7 is not a big deal. There was no musty smell or anything. Excellent store will definitely be back for more Final Fantasy MTG cards.

If you’re looking for hard to find cards this is your spot. They have almost any set you can think of. The owner spent a lot of time with us looking for and sorting through cards on our behalf. He stopped what he was doing to talk and teach This is what it’s all about. Sharing your passion with the new comers to the community. Yes I’m a mood at card collecting and I’m sure it shows but he helped and wasn’t put off. Like many other shops I’ve been too. Recommend.
