Galactic Quest

I had a disappointing experience here. The owner i believe his name is kyle tried to sell me a card that had visible damage while pricing it close to full market value. I wasn't comfortable paying that price for the condition, so I declined and stepped away to call a friend for a second opinion. When I came back, the owner became rude and told me that because I had left and returned, he was no longer willing to negotiate for another card because i didn’t want the damaged card. I was prepared to spend around $600 and he tried to rush me into buying the card with no price tag, I was treated unfairly and dismissed as a customer all because i refused to buy the damaged card for 5x the price . please be careful coming into this store for anything as they will try and take advantage of you.

Warning to the local community regarding Galactic Quest!!!: Be extremely cautious if you decide to buy singles or collectibles from this shop. I had an awful experience where they tried to push a damaged card on me for an absurd, inflated price. They are trying to take advantage of collectors and think people won't notice condition issues. This place feels like a total scam. Go support honest local card shops instead!

I visited Galactic Quest on a Saturday, and this place truly feels like a comic book paradise. You can find many complete comic series here. The store also offers a wide selection of impressive Marvel collectibles and toys in different sizes. My niece is going to love the two Bluey books I bought for her today. The shop is conveniently located in downtown Lawrenceville, making it easy to visit while exploring the area. If you are a comic book collector or fan, you definitely need to check this place out. Some comics are even on sale for under $3.

Walked in today, 5/7/26 and customer service was not present. The two individuals 1 male, the other female did not welcome me in, hardly acknowledged me; especially the male worker. I don't know what that was about...I was looking for slabbed keys and ready to make big purchases, but that will never happen here.

I wanted to like this comic book store. It is in a good location. Seemed like good deals. Next to lots of cute shops in Lawrenceville. My daughter was looking at comics and was gonna get a couple. Unfortunately this very tall man who works there rudely kept "so called" putting books and items back up around us. He almost knocked me over in the process --twice. No excuse me or right behind you was said. Too old to not know manners and shouldn't work with the public. Whatever his problem is, resulted in a lost sale and possibly many. I normally give good reviews but if it is a bad experience I have to be honest.
