FTW Game Co. in Claremore was a good stop overall. I was greeted when I came in, there were people playing and browsing, and the store was clean and welcoming. What really stands out is the variety. This isn’t just a card shop or comic shop. They have comics, Funko Pops, vinyl, tabletop games, collectibles, retro and modern video games, accessories, and consoles from several generations. There is a LOT to look through, and pricing on what I checked seemed reasonable. I especially enjoyed the retro gaming and physical-media selection. The trading-card side is where my experience fell a little short of five stars. I primarily look for Magic singles, and the visible selection of staples was smaller than I normally see at game stores. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing—inventory sells and every store has a different focus. What affected the experience more was being directed to a kiosk to search for cards when I asked questions. I completely understand using a kiosk for inventory control, and it’s great when you know the exact card you want. But sometimes I don’t remember the card’s name, I’m looking for something that performs a particular function, or I simply want another Magic player’s recommendation. That’s where talking with knowledgeable game-store staff can be more valuable than searching a database. There wasn’t anyone waiting at the counter when I was asking, so I would have appreciated a little more interaction instead of primarily being pointed toward the kiosk. I also didn’t notice much of a Pokémon singles selection during my visit. That said, FTW seems to be going for a little bit of a lot of different hobbies rather than being extremely deep in one, and there’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, it’s one of the reasons the store is fun to browse. There are comics and collectibles everywhere, walls of Pops, older games and systems, newer gaming merchandise, trading cards and plenty of things you don’t see in every hobby shop. Overall, a solid four-star experience for me. Friendly greeting, fair prices, lots of variety, active gaming space and plenty of interesting stuff to dig through. The Magic singles/customer interaction just wasn’t quite at the level I’ve experienced at some other game stores. I’d still absolutely stop back in—especially because this is the kind of place where you can walk in looking for one thing and end up finding something completely unexpected.

FTW is a badass store with great employees! I'm always impressed with their selection and store associates knowledge on anything you need help with. They will go above and beyond to help you with what you're looking for and have amazing prices. Recently, I got two new pins which are extremely fitting for me and the entire Twilight collection which I'm in love with! Taylor was so helpful and friendly. If you're going to sell items to them, they make great deals and are extremely fair. 10/10 will always recommend FTW!

I went in about 30 minutes or so ago (in between 1:40 and 1:55pm Friday March 27 2026) to sell 7 copy’s unopened of Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox series x. There was one person in the store other than the clerk and the clerk was a heavy set guy didn’t catch his name. I told him I was looking to sell the video games and he thumbed threw them and told me “ I’m not going to say any thing but it’s very suspicious out of providence that you have this many unopened video games so I’m not going to buy them” so I took that as him accusing me I’m a thief and I stole them or whatever and brought them to the store to sell them. Very insulting. I buy video games in bulk from various places from bin stores to pallets of video game returns and I resell them to other people as a side hustle. I happened to have 7 copies of that specific game and was having a hard time selling them so I decided to take them there to just get them off my hands and break even if anything. I am a small business owner and combat veteran. I am not upset about them not purchasing my games I am upset he accused me of being a thief in front of other customers and causing embarrassment. Pretty much slander. He never asked why I was selling them or where I got them just went straight to accusing me of being a thief. I want the owner to contact me privately or provide me an email or phone number so I can express my experience. Until then I will not be taking my business there and will tell everyone that asks about that store to go to game x change instead. Very unprofessional and rude I will contact the chamber of commerce as well.

The absolute best gaming/comic/collectible store around. They have so much to choose from and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We went for the first time and had a great experience. I could get help if needed, but was hassled 0, which is huge to me and will keep me coming back. My son and I both spent some money and are pleased with our cards. I prefer here over vintage stock in Owasso.
