Such a cute little store! I stopped in on a whim and ended up loving it. There are so many fun and unique things to look through, and the whole place has such a cool vibe. Definitely one of those little hidden gems you’re happy you found. I’ll absolutely be back!

Don’t come here for Pokemon. Bought a single from their display that they had marked as near mint and priced as such. They got it out for me and I paid. When I went to put it into my binder it was obviously damaged. When I went to return it the owner was very condescending and passive aggressive and put the blame on me for not checking the card that he had marked and priced as near mint. If you decide to buy anything from here check it very closely because they obviously don’t.

We moved to north AL 3 years ago and I just assumed if I wanted a great game store, I would need to drive a hour and 20 minutes to Huntsville. I got curious about 6 months ago and just randomly searched game stores nearby and this store popped up and it was only 30 mins away. My wife an I checked it out. It was a perfect match. It offered anything I would be interested in, but most importantly things my wife would be interested in. The game store itself has the perfect ambiance. I hate NEON lighting, being a little divergent, sensory things can really irritate me. The lighting is perfect. Metal chairs and plastic tables make horrible noises and are simply torture to spend time in. Fever Dream has none of those typical things. The leather backed chairs, wooden tables, lighting, paint colors and overall design makes for the perfect gaming home base. I am happy to say I have become a regular, at least when time allows and highly recommend anyone to check it out. Other big pluses. The owners are fantastic, super helpful and very friendly. The community, it may take stopping in a few times before people recognize your face, but will be very inviting once you show up a few times.

Fever Dream is an absolute treasure trove for lovers of unique, high-quality crystals, artisan jewelry, and intriguing board games. I purchased a stunning labradorite pendant with incredibly intricate wire wrapping, crafted by local artist Valerie Hughes, as well as a breathtaking blue water jade ring—both of which are absolutely gorgeous! The shop itself is pristine, beautifully curated, and filled with exquisite carved stones that any collector or enthusiast would appreciate. The selection of board games is also impressive, making it a great spot for anyone looking for something special beyond just crystals. To top it off, the shopkeeper was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Fort Payne, I highly recommend stopping by—whether you're looking for a unique gift, a personal treasure, or just an amazing atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again!

My boyfriend in I came in looking for a fun game to play together. This is the cutest little board game shop! We walked out with Peanuts monopoly and a rubber ducky game.
