Although the program seems to be well taught, it stinks like a locker room that hasn't been cleaned in months!! Apparently the instructors think it's ok to walk around the mat with a baby? When the head instructor, (Dr Len?) talks on the microphone...It sounds aweful! Reminds me of when the adults talk on Charlie Brown! Great instructors and program, but whats wrong with a little cleaning, deodorizing and microphone or PA system upgrade?

I attended FMAC for years in the past, and I can say that everyone there is very nice and understanding. That said, there are a few key things to know if you’re considering it. If you’re looking for a place that focuses solely on martial arts for self-defense, this may not be the right fit. FMAC is more family-oriented, as the name suggests. From what I remember, they ran an A/B week schedule. One week is spent on actual techniques—which is fantastic. I still remember many of those techniques today. However, the other week (B week) focuses on forms, which are kind of like martial arts “dances.” They say this helps improve your moves, but it’s not focused on practical self-defense. I’ve seen many people, including myself, feel frustrated or even leave when they realized the focus wasn’t on constant martial arts training. FMAC still offers a great environment, but it’s a shell of what it used to be. They used to have a massive location with two studios, a full gym, and a daycare. It was an amazing facility, and in many ways it still is. In short: if you’re a family looking for a supportive and engaging martial arts environment, this is a great place. But if you’re someone just looking to train strictly for self-defense, it may not be what you’re looking for.

Everyone who works at FMAC is genuinely dedicated to their students and helping them reach their highest potential. It's an amazing program for kids, family groups, teenagers & adults of all ages. I highly recommend FMAC!

I did it! I passed. Just a FYI this is going to get really sappy. When the girls were invited to a Karate Birthday party I was like, heck yes we'll join these kids need some discipline! They did a couple weeks solo. I decided shortly after that it looked like a great time and joined my self. Slowly but surely I have found who I really am. I have lost weight. I have lost the fear of failure. I have gained an immense amount of confidence. Self assuredness. New friends. People I count imagine my life without now. With this red stripe I now know the real me. I am happy, confident in my self and body. I'm so proud of the person I am becoming. With this stripe brings an Orange belt and a whole new world. I can't wait for what the future holds.

FMAC is one of the best decisions I have made for my son. This facility stresses manners and respect for others. It has helped my son become more confident in himself and his want to help others. If up to me this program would be mandatory for all children. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the instructors.
