Excellent local gaming store. Been avoiding it for years because of one unfriendly employee from years ago. Now I feel bad. The store owner is super friendly and knowledgeable, and the place is overwhelmed with gaming fanatics who are friendly and inclusive. Even got some battle tech swag to go along with my new game. Will be back soon.

Fun games and game hobbies to purchase. Plus MANY games to play for a small fee. You can play with friends in the store and try new games. You can also bring your own games and hobbies to do in the store. Card trading items as well. Friendly staff.

Come here anytime I need paints for dnd minis. Always find cool board games too. If they don't have something, they'll order it for you and mark it down a bit. People are always playing some kind of game in the tables. Staff is super nice and knowledgeable.

I've been to Ettin quite a bit. I love that they have singles from card games that are popular in their store. Though sometimes the employees seem to not pass along info to each other (A common issue, usually pretty trivial), they are generally quite pleasant. Ettin's real draw is the space. They have loads of it, and it's comfortable to exist in. It's not too loud, the lights aren't grating, and they have different seat options. It's a great place to play casual games. My only feedback for the store would be to run official events on a schedule. Organized play programs are important for card games, even at casual levels. They build community, and they get customers returning to a store. But if they don't want to do that, there are quite a few casual groups that play and that's neat. Overall, Ettin is a great shop, with a nice selection of various games, and one of the more comfortable environments to exist in as a gamer who plays in-store regularly.

Amazing and wonderful. One of the great local businesses of Albuqueruqe. I came in on the 5th day of a new hobby and Sean (Shaun) the owner did everything he could to get me started. Just an absolutely wonderful person, wonder business and wonderful environment. This business deserves all the support we can give it.
