ELD's Time Vault Games

Drove 30 minutes down here because he has high value inventory and needed 2 expensive cards and 2 inexpensive cards. After 5-10 minutes of pleasant conversation and me and one other person in the shop waiting my turn. The man behind the counter (presumably the owner) ended up shewing away a $430 sale on 2 cards because he was 60+$ over market value on tcg in better condition. I was shocked with how he handled this because high value cards don’t move often and with cash in hand and a good attitude stores love being able to move some high value stock. When asked if he would meet market price after showing him what they are going for on TCG for high volume verified sellers. he claimed Tcg is just where people go to dump cards and not reflective of the market. I said that unfortunately I’m going to have to pass then on the whole reason I drove down here. (For context) I would rather support a local shop, then go through TCG. however if the shop refuses to give a reasonable price, you’re forced to go online. That being the case I now have to use Tcg to not over pay for the card. Due to me having to ship cards anyways I told him I’m no longer interested in the other 200$ card and unfortunately will have to go with the better price but will take the last two inexpensive cards so I wouldn’t have waisted his time. He refused to sell me the two cards and said you can leave. This is hopefully not how the shop usually operates but is an unfortunate example as to why you should use online sellers sometimes. I told the owner prior to this whole thing going down that he had an exquisite inventory, but it appears as if he’s not willing to sell it without price hiking the customer. If you do choose to use this establishment for high value MTG cards please check your prices so you’re not overpaying for a lower quality card. And for all that are reading this review, I hope your experience is better than mine as I would’ve loved to make this my local game shop.

Great tournament organizer with a friendly atmosphere. Erics a very easy person to deal with and has a great selection of product from singles to sealed. Highly recomend doing business here!

Great selection of Pokemon but be prepared to pay market. I bought a poster collection and it had a bunch of packs that had the same hit. 3 packs of the pokemon Koraidon as the rare. One pack in the box had damage on the back of an entire pack but could be printing error. I've never opened 3 packs with the same EX Cards in a set like ascended though. If I didn't pay market for it I wouldn't care. I will stay away from card stores that want to charge market price for everything. Why would you go to a store to pay that when you can find it cheaper online. Good place for singles and playing from what I gather. So in summary if you want to pay close to highest actual price online shop here. They have a ton of product because the pricing structure scares aware small time collectors. I hunt for products at MSRP so I honestly will not return. I definitely appreciate the collection the store has but that's what it feels like... a collection not an actual card store.

My grandson and I stopped by looking to purchase some Pokémon card sets, and to my surprise there was an abundance of selections to choose from. Unfortunately, nothing was really organized and the prices made our toes curl backwards and it seemed like a hassle trying to get prices from the owner because he was too busy "chatting" with a group of kids. I can totally understand how they have so much stock with the prices I was getting from the owner. I doubt we'll ever return there and I'll definitely never recommend to my friends to shop there, unless they got money to burn.

ELD has the best gaming scene around for Magic the Gathering, board games and collectibles. Eric and his employees and the regulars at the shop keep a welcoming environment where fun and fair competition meets a positive social vibe, which can be a rare thing to find. I've played in many events here and the team legacy events are by far my favorite. The shop is always clean and as a dad I can trust my kids won't have any issues gaming here. My kids have found a few fun and unique board games that we had never seen before and Eric is always happy to teach how they are played. I really appreciate having a business like this so close to home.
