The dude working was in a bad mood over the phone and when I went into the store to try and sell cards. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable interaction. Treated the other two customers (one in person and one over the phone) decently enough but when it came to helping me he was a jerk who ignored me walking in and while sorting, mumbling under his breath and overall just in a bad mood. I don’t understand why he still works there with that kind of work ethic and customer service. 0/5 star experience

I've been a customer at Dragonslayer for 10-12 years and brought in many regulars over that time, but I was recently banned over a situation that got blown way out of proportion. A kid verbally attacked me outside the store, and from there things escalated. Daniel never asked for my side of the story before passing judgment, took the other party's account at face value, and dismissed me when I tried to explain. I apologized anyway and it didn't matter. Beyond this incident, customer service has always been hit or miss here. Daniel can be difficult to deal with and isn't great with people. The store and bathrooms are often not well kept either. Even people in the local Digimon community didn't understand why this situation was handled the way it was, and I know several other longtime customers who feel the same and won't be back. Disappointing way to treat someone who supported the store for over a decade. Your money is better spent in other local game stores where they actually care about their customers

Dragonslayer Games is hands down one of the best spots around. It’s a rare find where the entire environment is built on genuine relationships rather than just transactions. The vibe is incredibly welcoming, nobody has an ego, and the staff and community are always patient and eager to teach newcomers or talk strategy. A huge shoutout to Dan, who is absolutely awesome. I told him Emolga was my all-time favorite Pokémon, and he went out of his way to track one down for me. That kind of personal touch and effort is exactly why this place stands out. If you’re looking for a shop that actually cares about its players, this is it!

Great place to play Pokémon tcg. Been going here for about a month or so never had any issues with the staff that run the store or the people that put on events. The staff that put on the Pokémon tcg events are very knowledgeable and helpful. Rather you are a new comer to the world of pokemon or a veteran player there always somebody there that will help you out if u need it. Highly recommmend this store when it comes to pokemon tcg
