Dragon's Lair Comics and Games - Omaha

Came in yesterday for the stardew valley secret lair and fully got scammed. I have no clue why they charged me 65$ for a non foil set of secret lair when the foil set is 50$ on the website, and Cafe Monster has the same non foil version of the set that I paid 65 for, for only 45 there. What the actual f#%! Is wrong with people?

50% of the time I go in, the cashier is so uninterested in anything and makes me feel like I am a burden for asking basic questions like asking for a bag or making them stamp my card. On top of that, they charge near scalper prices for the pokemon packs and justify that 'its the market right now'. Broseph, Krypton sells them for 6$. Anymore I just go in for comics that other stores might not have and expect the cashier to just hate themselves/me for existing. Sometimes I get someone nice enough, but only sometimes blows. I've seen gamestop employees less miserable and thats insane.

My experience with the staff was terrible. They seemed to greet only certain people when we walked in, with no "hello" or "welcome in" for us, but they greeted others shortly after. This happened twice, on two separate occasions and both times I left without buying anything due to it. It was also weird that they didn't greet us but kept staring at me while browsing around the shop. FYI, check prices elsewhere before buying here you'll probably find what you want cheaper at any of the other local shops or even ebay.

I dropped into Dragon's Lair Comics & Games while exploring the area and it is an absolute paradise for anyone who loves nerd culture. The shelves are packed from floor to ceiling with an incredible selection of graphic novels, board games, and hard-to-find card packs, all organized so perfectly that it is a joy just to browse through the aisles. The atmosphere is super welcoming, and the staff members are deeply passionate about what they do, instantly offering great recommendations without being pushy at all. They also have a fantastic dedicated space for local community events and tabletop gaming, making it clear that this shop is a true cornerstone for local hobbyists.

A fantastic comic and game store with a wide wide variety of items. Knowledgeable staff who are friendly and cooperative. I only drop a point for the fact that for such a large store they have a small selection of dice… otherwise the place is great!
