While they have the right to sell at whatever prices they want to, and I’ll always support that freedom, what is Legal isn’t always Just. I do not recommend this store due to their lack of engagement with the TCG communities that want to play the games they love in third spaces. It often feels like with every new set release they LEAN into capitalist sensibilities. They stake their claim in a “take it or leave it” framework and with the economy and future on such a thin line I think what we all need is grace and allowance to greave our frustrations. Do not mistake my review as compliance or sympathy with this business. In fact; it is because of their lack of understanding of the world around us crumbling that makes access to product or even just a recognition of where the player base is coming from more upsetting. I do not recommend this store as your primary choice. I forgive anyone who still chooses it though as I understand that we all want to feel like we can still enjoy our hobbies in this ever worsening crisis of an economy.

Came here on a Friday for a card show after Pitch Black released. The show was fairly empty, but when I came back the next morning it was filled out. There's a lot of space for vendors to set up and everyone, both vendors and employees, were friendly. They had, in my opinion, well-priced pokemon cards, especially for the newest set, and gave some good prices on a handful of bulk cards we purchased. I'll definitely be coming back in the future!

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Traditional card trading shop. Love the atmosphere,.especially on their special vendor events. Disregard all negative reviews. Of course some prices are high, while other deals great.....it's a card shop!!!

Went in there to buy some Pokemon cards for me and my son. My son notices a card he likes and proceeds to call it out loud as he points it out in the glass case. I acknowledge him by telling him okay we’ll grab it right now as I continue to skim through their boxes of singles. When we were finally ready to ask an employee to fetch cards from the display cases, I double checked the location of all the cards I had planned on buying…That’s when I noticed the card my son had called out a few minutes ago was not in the same spot as it was a few minutes ago. After a brief moment of rescanning the display case I finally relocated that same card in a different spot with a new increased price tag. What else am I supposed to take from this particular situation? LOL COINCIDENCE??? I think not. Scum behavior. EDIT: I stand by my statement. I’m wish they had the balls to show camera footage of my visit just to prove that what I said was correct. Their response just goes to show how horrible their customer service really is. Not only are they proving how these negative accusations towards them are true with their defensive remarks against customers but they’re also showing you exactly why they have such a low rating 👎

Save yourself the frustration — check prices before you buy anything here. My 80-year-old mother took my 10-year-old son here for his birthday and purchased a Topps 2026 Series 1, 14-pack box of baseball cards for $90. The same product is available at Best Buy right now for $49.99 with same-day pickup. That is an 80% upcharge on a standard retail item that anyone can buy today without leaving their couch. It's also worth noting that Diamond 9 Sports Cards is NOT an authorized Topps retailer. When I called to ask about the pricing, I was told they buy from resellers and don't accept returns. Fine. I called back and asked only if we could exchange it for something harder to find — something that would actually justify the price of a specialty shop — since what we bought is clearly available anywhere. The owner responded by telling me I was rude for calling it a rip-off, attempted to justify the price with a tax argument that doesn't hold up mathematically, and then hung up on me. Charging $90 for a $49.99 product is one thing. Refusing any resolution and hanging up on a customer asking a legitimate question is another. My son got his birthday gift, but my family will not be returning. If you're looking to buy Topps products, do yourself a favor and find an authorized Topps retailer — you'll get a fair price and the peace of mind that comes with it. I'd encourage anyone — especially seniors, parents, and grandparents shopping for kids — to look up prices before making a purchase here.
