Dean's Dugout

We've been coming here for a while as I have two young boys who love to collect cards and enjoyed having a local spot. Today my son went in with birthday money eager to find some things and took the initiative himself to ask Dean if he had them but was instantly dismissed away in a rude manner with every question. It broke my son's heart and we will no longer be shopping here. Was really a shame and a terrible way to ruin a kid's birthday and lose a young collector in the process.

I received a text that my sister had just stopped by here with her kid to check out Pokémon cards for the first time since I sadly gave all mine away growing up. Dean's donated packs from an event they just had, another stack of cards from a donor stating that they be gifted to the next handful of kids they got in, and some free packs from trivia questions. I cannot think of a better introduction to the community than that. Thanks for making the nephew's day (and mine).

Such a great place! I recently rediscovered Dean’s Dugout after being a regular at his previously location in my youth. I brought my little guy last weekend, and they sure made him feel like an MVP. You can tell that Dean and Marilyn love kids and they treat their customers like family. We’ll be back soon!

Dean and his wife are such a joy to work with. The packs that they sell are always reasonably priced, sometimes even lower than market value. They are very strict on card limits, which I wholeheartedly stand by. Very honest guy with very honest prices. I will always support this local shop.

Such a great place to shop extremely welcoming. Stopped in for a minute to check it out and left about 45 minutes later after some excellent conversation!! Would highly recommend you stop in. It’s almost a throwback to how shops used to be!! Will be going back today!!
