Dark Vassal Gaming

As someone just now getting into Warhammer, they've been a godsend. Not only are they friendly, professional, and convenient, but they're helpful. If I ever don't know what paints, or primers, or brushes to use, they're more than happy to answer me. And trust me, I've had a LOT of questions. If you're into TTRPGS, or TCGs, or Gunpla, or just wanna buy dice or chill with some cool people, DEFINITELY stop by here. 10/10 experience, every time. Thanks to everyone at DVG, for setting the standard for Warhammer players!

Dependable card store that invites a great community! Every time I’ve stopped in I’m greeted by eager knowledgeable people who don’t judge me when I’m not sure what I’m looking for! Love their local involvement with various events and attending their own events. Great store who host great people in their space!

Pretty cool little shop, decent selection of Warhammer boxes and supplies. Didn't have exactly what I was looking for but probably would have bought a few hundred dollars in models still. Eventually left after 15 or so minutes because there was no one manning the store other than a few guys playing video games in the back (not sure if they were even employees or not). *Editing this review now as the owner reached out to thank me for the feedback and make things right, I will be going back there at some point!*

NEW CUSTOMERS TREAD CAREFULLY! This was my 1st & immediately my Last Time doing business here. Some guys recommended this place so I did a pre order through them. I was told by Dark Vassal that everyone is limited 1 item & have to pay the full amount up front & that the boxes would be opened- I was ok with that so I placed my order. 3 weeks later they email me to tell me MY order (Not all orders) are a part of another shipment because they werent getting any product this time around because of something that had no affect on any other business in the Cedar Valley... my options were wait 4 months and see what happens, or get refunded. I called them to ask details and after the person on the phone scoffed and laughed when I called them out on contradicting their bogus email, i decided to just get refunded and move on. Turns out the other guys who referred this place not only all still have their orders, were able to order multiple items as well & have their product still sealed because "they're good buddies with the place" and before that it was because they "have accounts with them". They don't have accounts. They are literally standing next to me bragging about it..... this is how you do business Dark Vassal? Yet you have the audacity to stare me down when I come to get refunded and tell me "do you wanna talk about it". What a complete joke of a business, this is how you treat customers? I'll take my business to somewhere trustworthy and doesn't treat their potential customers like illiterates.

Any time I stop in there are always people gaming and hanging out. Friendly, knowledgeable staff; an all around welcoming environment. Game nights and tournaments throughout the week for various TCGs, Warhammer, etc. (All of which can be found on their Discord)! They give great value for singles being traded in, (better than any other location in the Cedar Valley to my knowledge) and their singles pricing is based off of TCGPlayer market price without having to wait for shipping and hope that it shows up! To top it all off, they've got a great selection of sealed TCG products, Dragon Shield sleeves, minis, paint, binders, dice, the list goes on. Do yourself a favor and give them a visit!
