Great selection of products to help build my son's new Pokemon collection. The owner was able to ship several packages to us as we weren't local. Shipping was fast and items arrived in perfect condition! Owners were knowledgeable and extremely helpful!

My favorite store in Jax. Higher rates for selling and trade-ins than ANY other store. Large play space so never cramped, no play fees, solid card/Warhammer selection. The owners play the games they sell so there's a lot more experience for people getting into various games. I play here weekly for the past 3 years.

Great card shop. Employees are very knowledgeable and very personable. Always great you with a smile and help you at a moments notice with any questions you may have. Amazing collection of magic cards and all accessories you need to enjoy the game with enough table space to fit what I would guess to an estimated 80 players. Additionally they have an assortment of table top games including warhammer tables and a collection or miniatures

One of the best places to play magic in town. I live on the Southside, but the drive is worth it to play at Counterspell. Large area to play and the selection of merch is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great set of singles to select from and give really good deals on trade-ins.

If I could leave a 0-star review, I would do it. I had a horrible experience with them. They hold a tournament, and don't have the proper organization to plan ahead based on the amount of people who will be showing up. I got there early with my fiancé who was participating, and I was asked to move to the "art table," which was not as comfortable, plus I would not be able to see my fiancé play, which I was there to cheer him up. There were children at the tables, and the owner gave the option to my fiancé and me to move or leave the store. The art table could clearly be used for kids to keep them entertained, but according to him, he did not care, I had to move. I even heard the owner telling another guy that he did not want to move them. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They have no sense of customer service. If they know you, they will favor you, if they don’t, they will kick you to the curb. First time visiting, and it would be the last. Best advice: Find another game store in the Jacksonville, Florida area, and runaway if you ever see or hear about Counterspell Games!
