I only found out about this shop recently and I'm very glad that I did. Very friendly staff and customers, a clean store environment, and a wide selection of cards has made this store my go-to for purchases. One of the best parts about this store is the pricing; at a time where scalpers are ruining card games, Card Shop Near Me has reasonable pricing and they care about their customers being able to actually play the games or collect the cards they want! Highly recommend :)

Saw they had MTG Commander games going on today. This was my first ever MTG commander game in person. Friendly helpful staff! Great atmosphere, and very nice people all around! Will be coming back for more commander very soon. Hope to visit regularly!

I had a really weird experience trying to sell cards here. Texted the owner the night before and got a response this morning. Let them know I would be coming in to sell some cards and basically waited 2+ hours for the owner to come in because I had high value cards. Owner comes in, approaches me and says “we’ll pass because of the pattern of communication and urgency.” I have no problem with getting a “no”, each store has the right to do that. My issue was that the owner had me wait, took a look at me, and said no. I am a Hispanic man so I can’t help but think this was racially coded. I have been playing MtG for 10+ years and have a reference page for selling and buying cards. It is what it is, won’t be coming here in the future. I attached some screenshots of my texts with the owner for the context. This is when they should’ve let me know that they were not interested. Edit: In response to the below. I only provided 10 cards, as the rules said. But because I was waiting for awhile, the employee at the time offered to look at the rest of the high value singles (I think it was an additional 10). So I went back to my car to grab them from my trunk to present them to the employee. I followed the store policy but it seems like there may have been some miscommunication between the employee and the owner, I don't know. I also don’t know what they mean by, “when I saw this was the same person” as they never gave me the opportunity to introduce myself. Seems like they made a judgement call when they first saw me. I want to quickly say that at the bare minimum, it would have been nice to have been treated with some type of respect by the owner. I didn’t know it was their day off and I didn’t know that the owner had to be present for the sale of high value cards (again, they could’ve mentioned this through text). I don’t think I did anything disrespectful, and if I did it wasn’t out of malice. The employee was super nice, I waited patiently, and only went up to speak to the employee to see if they had any updates. I was not aggressive and I thought I was being respectful.
