Cantrip Cards & Games

Not a huge fan of the attitude I received today because I wouldn't accept your extreme low-ball of an offer. It's funny, you guys are always so cheerful when I'm in here buying etb's and booster boxes. It may not be much but I've spent at least $2,000 here in the last year. $660 on booster boxes alone. It sucks I have to find somewhere else to shop now. Also, the fact that I had to ask for my sleeves back that you decided you were just going to keep is insane.

Update: Since the shop replied to my review (which is appreciated), I would like to clear some things up. First, I completely understand that every company and shop have their own business model. That's on the owner/manager to decided. I have visited hundreds of shops in the country and made purchases at about half of them (I will try to leave a screenshot of it on the review if it lets me, as I like to keep track). Every place I've purchased from had cards at or below market pricing. The others had them higher and wouldn't negotiate, so I simply walked out. These businesses make the prices and you can choose to purchase there or not. That's just business. My experience is a small sample size, considering the thousands of shops around the country, but it's definitely not insignificant. Thus, I'm not sure I agree with the statement that "Typically, brick and mortar locations will have cards above [market price]." In my experience, most brick and mortar locations are AT or below market pricing, but again, n = 100s here and it depends on various factors, such as location. Secondly, my main gripe was at the not feeling welcomed at the store and getting immediately shut down after asking about a card that was marked for ~$300. Clearly, I wasn't in there to nickle and dime over a few cards worth a couple of bucks; that was my floor and opening the conversation for a much bigger purchase. I appreciate Ryan for reaching out. I'll take you up on the offer of coming back if I'm ever in the area again. I travel a lot and like to stop by local shops and support them as much as possible. ---- Sells singles at ~110% of TCGPlayer (this is what they claim, but the cards I looked were closer to ~115%). When asked if they'd make deal if buying a large $$$ amount, I received a standoffish "no deals" response and then they just turned and left. I am going to assume they get a lot of people trying to low-ball them, but their attitude did not make me feel welcomed. Was just trying to get closer to TCGPlayer pricing, which is what most shops around the country go off of. Sucks what the current market has done to the hobby.

Would give it six stars, but that’s not allowed. Came here a few days ago and the service was unparalleled. One of the employees, Kai, had a great personality and was very knowledgeable in Magic the Gathering. Would recommend to anyone.

Great little shop that has a good selection of cards, dice, and other table top stuff. The guys who work there are all super nice. I go there every Monday to play D&D and always have a fun time.

This is an amazing game store, with great staff, excellent community. Plenty of action for tabletop wargamers, trading card games fans and classic board game fanatics. My photos are all of different Battletech matches I have played over the past year!
