Books, Comics, and Things is a reminder that selling comic books does not automatically make one a guardian of civilization. One might think from the attitude inside that these shelves contain the last illuminated manuscripts of the Middle Ages, and that each customer is a peasant interrupting the monks. The selection is decent enough, but the staff often carries themselves with the warmth of a locked display case. A little polish would do wonders. Courtesy, after all, is not a variant cover. It should not be rare. The unfortunate part is that this sort of tone usually does not appear by accident. It drifts downward, like dust from an old ceiling fan, until everyone in the room seems convinced that basic customer service is beneath them. Two stars. There is inventory here worth browsing, but not enough charm to make the experience enjoyable. They are selling comics, not preserving literature through a plague. A touch of humility would improve the place more than any new release ever could.

Took a $2,000+ collection in to be appraised. They said they would give me $300. Rip offs.. funny my first review seems to have disappeared. There are quite a few large gaps between reviews on here...... 🤔

Great comic store, the owner is very friendly and the store has a surprisingly large selection of comics for a smaller venue. Highly recommend!

I went with a few friends to BCT in search of some items for a tabletop game. It's a small shop with a limited selection of tabletop gaming gear, but an incredible selection of comics. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!
