Ben's Card World

So I went in to Ben’s card shop today hunting the three Kanto starter Pokemon and their evolution from 151 Scarlet and Violet! Let me start with saying Jacob was awesome helping me snd gave me a fantastic price for my trade and gave me a fantastic price out the door for Bulbys evolution! He even gave me a free magnetic hard case for being a returning customer!!! Love this place and go see this guy if you’re a Pokemon head because he is definitely squared away!!!

The place is cool, but the lady who works there kind of comes off as rude. They have a good inventory but for some reason Heather I believe is her name always says they are firm on everything. I understand if we can’t meet a price but in the card hobby negotiating is normal, and she hasn’t negotiated both times I’ve been there, and she just comes off as rude. I just think that having no room on a 80$ card is ridiculous, I could not tell you one person who is willing to pay 100% comp. Anyway it is a great store except for the fact that the lady comes off as kind of rude.

Was visiting Florida for vacation, stopped in and staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They had a great selection. I ended up pulling a 1/1 super refractor from the Fantastic 4 Topps Finest! Highly recommend to check it out if you are in the hobby.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and visit today! One of the largest and best card shops I've been to. One of the absolute best on the gulf coast! Extremely fair and professional! Fantastic for kids! Phenomenal all the way around!

They have a great inventory. That’s about it. Very judgmental staff, if I want to trade in a high dollar card for a more common version, how about we don’t make faces and be negative. This is the second time I’ve gone in and someone is being negative about what I’m buying. The guy also tried to rip me off saying my cards market value was $257 and at 75% was $166 store credit, when it should have been $191. Then he started getting annoyed and said “I guess I’ve gotta redo everything.” This store is also not up to ADA standards. Boxes everywhere, you can’t even look at all of the inventory they have because of it. It definitely used to be more organized and enjoyable to go in back when it was PriceBusters. Don’t even want to go here anymore because of the hostility and judgement.
