Great place to go for anyone interested in anything from comics to cards. The worker was very helpful and excited to educate on the various products. Picked up a couple of their commissioned graphic novels. Card prices are very reasonable with a lot of the other LCS charging at market price. Great experience. Will be my new local spot going forward. Edit* 7/30/26 Still my go to place. Always amazed at the customer service and suggestions from everyone here.

What can I say about Arsenal comics? Great staff, great selection, great vibe/atmosphere! The staff genuinely cares and they are super friendly and insightful. You can chat about pretty much anything with them and they will engage you in authentic conversation. Awesome indie selection as well! Wednesday is new comic day and they always have cool stuff! One of my favorite shops in Ventura County and one of the best in Ventura County. A true gem! Support!!

Humble, unpretentious shops that feel connected to the broader Magic community matter. Magic shops are a lot like bars—there’s more than one, each with its own charm. People go to play different formats, and the owner sets the tone. Friendly, welcoming shops tend to build stronger communities. I didn’t get that here. When I asked about local EDH events, I was told there’s one Commander night. When I asked about the broader EDH community, the owner was dismissive and overly corrective. It felt closed-off rather than supportive, especially when he made it clear he doesn’t promote anything beyond his own store. That approach doesn’t work for me. I prefer spaces with a more open-minded, generous vibe, not a “there can be only one” mentality. As an old-school player, I value basic respect and being part of a positive, inclusive nerd community. I’ll look elsewhere.

Outstanding LCS. New Comic Book Day brought me into this shop. Missing my LCS in Murrieta, CA due to business trip. Well, stocked with new and older releases. Excellent customer service with very knowledgeable employees. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Thank you for the conversation and bringing me a taste of my LCS. Take care until the next visit.

I visited this place for the first time recently and it was a pleasant experience. Place is super relaxed and quiet. There are tables and chairs. They have raws and slabbed CGC graded comic books. Fair prices and staff is super nice. They even threw a few free comics to thank me for the purchase.
