Anime Kat

Stopped in a couple days ago to get some MTG packs. Was able to pick up some Innistrad Remastered, MH3, and Foundations boosters which are becoming harder to find! The gal behind the counter (Brianna I think her name was) was very helpful in assisting me. Glad to have a locally owned store in town that has a wide variety of nerdy stuff to enjoy!

All kinds of nerdy stuff! Super fun find on our trip thru PA. Pretty reasonable prices for being all the way up here. Old consoles and games we haven't seen since the 90s. Definitely worth a look.

Interesting shop with lots of tcg and anime and Warhammer stuff. As far as pokemon goes it's a little strange. We weren't allowed to take cards out of the binders. And these cards were definitely over priced. But they had a good amount of older cards though which is cool. The loose common cards were very well organized by set. But a handful of ones we had in a big lot picked out were dirty. Which is a shame to see even though it was so well organized. Overall for pokemon TCG I would say this is not a very good value. But for other stuff this is a good store with a wide variety of offerings.

Anime Kat actually has a little bit of everything one might call "nerdy," though anime and manga are the clear focus. I've picked up most of my collection here and have been very happy with what I've found. The staff and atmosphere have always been welcoming and inclusive, to the point that I've never really had any issues in that vein while hosting or attending events there. My only complaint is that the ttrpg selection is predominately DnD 5e/5.5e, and as much as I would rather play (almost) anything else, I can accept that DnD makes up somewhere around 50% of the entire ttrpg market by itself.

The selections of video games was giant I ended up spending around an hour total looking around, which was super fun. Also never know what you’ll find in the manga section, some good ones in there. Prices are pretty unbeatable so yeah this place is very cool 😎
