Alakazam Comics

From out of town and needed to pick up my new comics, and these guys were just around the corner. Super friendly staff and fun atmosphere!! Lots of variety, even beyond comics. Good spot!

it just felt right the moment we walked in. they have a good selection, i found a few graphic novels ive been wanting for ages and the staff was really helpful but not pushy. the whole vibe was relaxed and i could have spent alot more time looking around. definately going back next time i visits the area.

Any recent back issues were spread across about a dozen boxes labeled 'new to store'. Seemed like the selection of organized back issues was very limited. While I was there, two workers were joking from across two rooms about hookers and drugs keeping friends together. Super cringe.

Came in for their semi-annual sale. Was able to pick up a lot of recent comics for a dollar. They had other comics that were new to the store at 30% off. Was able to add a lot of things to my collection. Will be back for sure

Cool little shop that is very easy to locate. Parking could be a bit tough, but that isn't the shops problem. Lots of new and back stock comics. New are easy to look through, but you will need extra time if you want to look through back stock comics because they are not organized, this you'll have to look through several long boxes in hopes of finding your needed issue. The prices are quite reasonable for a LACO shop. There are also lots of collectibles for sale as well. If I had more time, I would love to have dug through the back issues, but alas...
