Z and Z Hobbies

So I read the reviews, and saw that there was quite a bit of negative ones. I decided to go check out the store anyway and I didn’t have the same experience. Both people I spoke to were very friendly, had answers to all of my questions, and even directed me around the store for some things he thought I might be interested in. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish there was more warhammer items and more citadel paints to chose from. This and one other store are really the only two within like a 30 minute radius and both stores don’t have very many options. Aside from that it was a great store and I’ll be returning.

Their train store is unspeakable because they are still mostly very rude and get away with it. Every time I bring one of my ho gauge trains to them, even with a minor issue, they still turn their backs on me and say, “sorry we can’t fix it”, how the hell are they a hobby store if they can’t fix anything?… their prices suck and they will never bring the price down, even if it was someone’s birthday and wanted a new toy train, it’s like they hate customers, they are a scam to the train industry. They even charge me 2 extra dollars on card which is stupid like hell. I will give them zero stars forever. I will always go to my childhood store instead to Joe’s train station since they are better at repair and their prices are better. This hobby store is greedy. I wish they were something else and not a train store.

I went yesterday to the store 4/4/2026 & met Harvey. As we spoke about the Air Beam I showed him he knew about it & told me straight forward don't waist your money. He said I can sell you abattery pack if I find the same one but the RC is old & outdated the only place will be EBAY for parts. That's if parts match. Harvey is old school, a person who believes in what he does & Values. He could of taken my money , made a profit & be done with me. He also asked me if that was for a mature kid & I said my 5yr old grandson. What I had was made in 1990 & powerful not for him. He showed me this small pk-up truck that goes over small rocks tree branches & the speed will be 5 or 10mph, & it's new, battery pack Lithium not NI Cad & parts if needed. I felt I was back in the late 60's in his store when I used to go to the Hobbie shops in my days. I'm the same age as him, I figure. Harvey is a veteran craft Hobbiest. With knoweldge of his field, not many left & unless kids follow in there dads, uncle, grandpa's, grandma's, foot steps, Hobbie Stores will not be the same or a memory when the suject comes up. I RECOMMEND Harvey Z (of ) Z & Z Hobbies INC Failess Hills Pa if you looking for RC Cars, Aeroplanes & Accessories. See you again soon Harvey. David Cruz ( DAV ) Bordentown NJ

It’s a great shop. I come here for the awesome selection of Gundam models and rc car parts and accessories. They have tons of paint, tools, and anything you could need for model making. Im not an expert on it, but they have a lot of model cars and train stuff as well. Also they have some trading cards and packs now too! Owners are really cool and helpful.

Long time customer. Harvey is the man. Miss Mike, rest in peace. Not many real hobby stores left. They are the best in the business. Lionel train jedis. Some of the trains I purchased over the years from Harvey.
