Wonderland Comics

This place’s good reputation is well-earned. Pretty huge space that is divided between new comic/toy/trade paperback inventory in the front, and a sizable back issue collection in the back. Staff is pretty friendly, and selection is good. I’d say this is a Top 5 comic shop in the state, and definitely the #1 spot in the northeast corner for sure.

Owner was very disrespectful to me from the moment that my uncle and I walked in. she gave me a ton of attitude and was very disrespectful because im minor. I showed her a card and she was not careful she was very rough with it and she tried to give me 50% below market value. After I told her I did not like her offer for what she was trying to give me she told me "your the reason i dont do deals with children get out of my store and dont come back." All because I declined her offer respectfully she said you made me do all of that for nothing all because she had to type something into her keyboard and look at a card. Wow so hard. She is the new owner and multipe people have had this problem of the owner being very rude and disrespectful because they had kids or they were minors. I find the old owner the man was better he wasnt rude and he was great until this new lady came in and now im banned.

Absolutely fantastic local comic shop and community hub. Wonderland Comics consistently goes above and beyond to support both the hobby community and local families. Their Free Comic Book Day events are always brilliantly organised and welcoming, and it’s clear they genuinely care about introducing new people, especially kids, to comics and gaming. They actively support local schools and community activities, which says a lot about the kind of business they are. The Pokémon League deserves special praise. It’s one of the friendliest and most inclusive leagues around, with a great atmosphere for players of all ages and experience levels. They do an excellent job making sure everyone feels welcome, supported, and respected, while still keeping events fun and well run. Their range of merchandise is also excellent. Stock is constantly changing, with a wide variety of comics, collectibles, trading cards, and gaming products always coming through the door. There’s nearly always something new and interesting to discover. A genuinely community focused business run by people who clearly care about their customers and the hobbies they support. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and spacious shop. Lots of really cool collectibles items and a very large selection for Magic the Gathering. They also hold tournaments and pre releases for Magic.

What a wonderful place to visit in the heart of Putnam's antique district. This very large comic book store truly Rocks! It has a huge selection and great prices all throughout the store. Kristen was extremely helpful and very informative. This is a must stop for comic books collector.
