War Room Hobbies

The prices are high, you will easily beat their prices with a quick search anywhere online. I haven't once found a deal there or felt like I got good bang-for-my-buck. That's a downside for me, obviously. In years I've only made a couple of purchases here due to that and that was simply in the spirit of supporting my local gamestore because people need a place to play. Upsides though the place is pretty decent to the community of tabletop wargaming nerds as a whole, some events to help new players learn, and it being a fairly open and inviting place is a great thing. The staff are nice people from my limited interactions I can't say anything I've experienced with them has been bad, the opposite really. Overall the store is okay, it's got some good things going for it but the prices just aren't at all competitive with anywhere I buy my kits, paints, models, anything. I'd recommend big time if you need somewhere to play, I'd even encourage some small purchases if you do play there. I would not recommend if you're looking for a place to buy your hobby items looking to get as solid deals as possible.

My husband and I always have a great time here. We only come once every few months for a MTG pre-release but we enjoy it everytime. The staff and friendly and helpful before, during, and after the events. The other people who come are fun to play with and there is a good amount of people too. It is a great environment to meet new people and play MTG! Would 100% recommend checking it out!

Great selection and a lot of space for table top and card games. Really good selection of Warhammer models and model hobby painting materials. An extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff that can help with a wide variety of assistance from tabletop and card game play to terrain building and model painting. They frequently host a variety of tournaments and the participants have all been a fantastic lot. IMHO, one of the best stores in the area if you're a Warhammer 40K enthusiast!

If you are looking for a place to buy or play, War Room is arguably the best place in town. Players and staff are friendly and helpful, almost all products have some level of discount off of MSRP, and there's plenty of plays pace! I have enjoyed my time at the store, whether for pickup games or events, and intend to keep returning for the foreseeable future.

Great selection of product, ample play space, and very friendly staff. Dan was running a tournament for us when I was there, and it went exceptionally smooth. He's the man!
