Voss Media Board Game Cafe

Our group of six just had THE BEST time tonight at Voss. Hubs and I didn’t know what to expect as we’d heard through a friend it was cool. When we got there we figured we wouldn’t be able to stay since the parking lot was packed, so we parked down the street. We were wrong. The place WAS hopping, but it’s also an absolute labyrinth of floor to ceiling fun on the inside. Deon, the owner, started us off with a tour. You gotta do that. Then, he explained the concept, which is basically pay $5 pp to play all day. Let me tell you, this is a crazy good deal. If you buy any games on your way out, it’s store credit anyway. They had food and drinks that seemed cool but we had already ate so we didn’t try them (next time!) Not only were we super pumped to see all of these amazing games (he has 2800, soon to be 3000 titles, largest game cafe in the country I’m not exaggerating), we also got personalized recommendations for our group. They were spot on! Both games he picked out were perfect for us. He even took time to walk us through the rules so we could get right to playing, which was an unexpected gift. The guy is a board game savant. The other clientele there were also super nice and helpful. I had a blast. I want to go back right now. Next time I’m bringing my kids. Go visit this place!!!

Hundreds of games to play for most ages, good food, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's great for a friends' get-together or a family game night.

Absolutely huge game library with nice tables, well organized with easy to use search tools... Just in case you don't want help, which is very friendly and quick to point you in the right direction. I wish I had found this years ago because I have been missing out!

They have more board games than you could ever imagine exists! We went to learn a new game and had a great time and found a new favorite game! Will definitely be back!

OMG! How did I not find this hidden gem sooner? Thousands of games! Many gaming tables! (I’d have taken more photos of the tables, but lots of people are here gaming! I thought it rude to photo people.) And the gamers here are friendly, introducing themselves, and super educational. The staff is so kind, smiley, and helpful! They’re willing to teach you to play. (if they have time and an event isn’t happening.) Which brings me to their full calendar of events. Every day something is happening. A Lorcana night, a paint minis night, open a new game night, competitions, etc… And snacks! Who doesn’t love snacks!! I can’t gush enough about this place. It’s our new obsession.
