Victory Road - Overland Park

Wonderful stop on my hunt for Pokémon! Good prices on packs and singles! They even have bulk organized into sets so easy searching. Definitely telling my friends about this place.

Asked about a card in their case based on it being marked MP when it was clearly HP. I'm told they will meet me in the middle between MP and HP pricing, and when trying to show defects I'm noticing, takes the card and starts rubbing off gunk with her fingers. I don't care the condition, but you should handle a vintage card someone wants to buy and try not to add more damage to it. Then says, without looking at a screen or anything else, "I'll lose money for less than..." How would you know that? Not a good experience from someone around cards for a while. Don't question card condition here, they might make it worse. This was my 3rd visit and won't be back. Put the other cards back I was planning to purchase as well.

After looking everywhere for a community to help me get into the Pokémon TCG league scene, this is the only place I could find in the area that actually had people showing up. Me and my 9 year old were lucky to get into the Pitch Black pre-release on Sunday and we could not have had a better experience. The staff was super nice and helpful, and everyone me and my daughter battled helped us every step of the way. We were a bit nervous going in and having to play against strangers, but were pleasantly surprised with how cool everyone was. The fact that she was comfortable during this whole experience (and had a ton of fun even with going 0-3) says a lot for me. On top of the experience, the store is probably the best place to go for Pokémon (I didn't look too much at their other stuff). Their prices even beat every other card shop and even online market prices that I've seen. They could easily take advantage of people like so many other shops have done and overcharge on every single product. But they don't, and that tells me that they are truly there for the fans and not the scalpers. Do yourself a favor, go in and experience Victory Road. I will be back with my kiddo to play their Sunday leagues and they will be getting all my business when it comes to Pokémon (which btw, they have so much more product than tons of other places - including Japanese/Chinese options!). Thank you all for the awesome experience that we will be talking about for a long time. We will see you guys again soon!

Had an absolutely incredible experience here! They had everything I needed from a bulk common I was missing from my master set to clean vintage holos. Staff was friendly and amazing to work with. Will definitely be coming back here again and again!

We have been to Victory Road countless times and it is our favorite card shop. Fair pricing and great customer service. Come check them out. No doubt we will be back!
