Uncanny Comics and Games

Good reviews are from before change in management. Rude staff; store is messy and smells terrible. Not even worth the trip inside. Plenty of close locals shops with much better vibes and stock. Trades at 70% ☠️ even with miserable stock in store lowest of most stores in houston

I recently visted, Uncanny Comics & Games, and I was super impressed. The selection of Pokémon cards is amazing and always down to do trades. They have everything from the newest sets to some hard-to-find vintage cards. Excellent customer service and product knowledge.

Nice cozy shop near a main road. They have decent product and the guys working were polite. However, their prices are too high - they were estimating at near mint prices online when the card quality was not at that level. I tried to make a deal at 87% of their asking price and they said disagreed. One of the guys also didn’t seem to know which product was theirs. Hopefully this is an isolated issue with the staff I met but I’m hesitant to come back.

Uncanny Cards and Collectibles was a wonderful experience, and the staff made all the difference. Everyone was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from the moment I walked in. They were knowledgeable without ever being pushy, and they took the time to answer questions and made the visit spectacular.

Great costumer service! They have a decent sized selection of comics, D&D, Pop and more, plus a space for people to come and play. They didn’t hesitate to recommend another store for whatever they didn’t have available, which I thought was very cool of them. Plan to come on a Sunday for their D&D sessions at 6pm.
