Twin City Collectibles

twin city is hands down THE BEST shop in town if you’re looking for pokémon cards. most of the time, their prices are actually below market value. i have been here a handful of times and the same woman is typically working behind the pokémon counter. i can’t attest to the other staff, but she is absolutely amazing! i don’t have kids, but if you do, twin city is the place to bring them if they like pokémon cards! their staff is so welcoming and sweet to all of the children who come in. i’m so glad i found this place!!

This is easily the best shop in Bloomington Normal and honestly central Illinois. Friendly faces, fair prices, and excellent knowledge across the board. Kyle, Allison, Austin, and Tony have all been more than amazing through out my journey collecting. Twin City has the best prices, best buying %s and friendliest atmosphere. It’s the kind of shop that you look forward going to at the end of a long week to spend hard earned money on your passions. It’s the kind of shop that goes out of their way to make free packs of cards for your kids when the big box stores are empty. It’s the kind of shop that is just as excited as you are for that big hit from whatever sport/TCG. Forget all the negative reviews from the scalpers mad they can’t take advantage of a small and honest business.

Cool shop with a solid selection of Pokemon cards. I tried working a deal with Allison at around 95% of market value, but was told there’s no flexibility. I’ve visited 20+ card shops across Illinois, and this is the only one that wouldn’t budge even by just $5-$10 for a card Lot. Seems a little silly especially since they take cards in at only 70% of Market. I was hoping to become a repeat customer since I buy regularly and need some wiggle room for Vending shows, but the lack of negotiation makes that tough. Hopefully they become more flexible in the future.

Went to this place for the first time yesterday and was very impressed. The staff is super nice and willing to help with anything. I went back and purchased more today and will be back in the next couple days to purchase a couple more things. Very well run shop and organized. I could easily spend hours in there. If you're looking for a relaxed and fun shop, this is the place to go. Would recommend 100/100 times. They also have fair pricing on single cards. They also don't overcharge on retail and hobby boxes. Excellent run store.

Stopped by this store , has a decent selection of magic the gather products and fair prices , staff were friendly and place is well kept. Looks to be a great up and coming magic shop for the area !
