Top Tier Board Games

First off; I am new to the space. I grew up with Pokémon and Yugioh. New to DnD. I came looking for DnD stuff. The sales associate Maddie was very helpful to help me understand the mechanics. They were very helpful! Open spaces to play WH40k was also cool

I work in this area every summer, so I generally stop by this shop and play for a few days. Generally MTG drafts, EDH, and similar things. I probably spent $3000+ at this store in 2023 and around $1,000 with one stop last summer for a gift for a friend getting into EDH. I stopped in to give away around 1000 full art old school lands I found and don't use, unfortunately I don't play much anymore, along with a bunch of EDH staples, trying to be nice, maybe a quick game. There was only one group of people playing. I asked if they were playing already, or if they wanted to start a pod. They were already in a game, so I bought a card, used the bathroom, and went back to see if they wanted the cards before I dipped. When I went back to ask, one of the guys asked me to leave because me being there was distracting. I've never felt more humiliated. To the credit of the Gundam people, they were very nice and tried to get me to play. But if this is the MTG community here now I'm not sure I want to spend my money at this location anymore.

It's great for Magic and DnD players. I just went to spend time with my little girl. Wish that had more anime stuff.

Going from customer, to employee, and back to customer this is still the BEST hobby store I have ever been to. It has the know-how and systems of a store the size of a Walmart while having the friendliness, community, and size of your friendly local game store. If you find issues in this store I truly don't know what to tell you besides to reevaluate your view of how businesses should be run because it truly is wonderful and very smart to stay afloat in such a hard business to be in.

I was here for the first time with my sons. We were looking for some place to kill a little time before a movie. It was endlessly fascinating. Hidden treasures around every corner. They have a wall of used board games and a table where you can try them out for free. There's also space for tabletop rpgs. The time to check out was annoyingly long. It looks like they buy cards a well as selling stuff. We were in line forever while both registers were occupied by people selling stacks of cards. All the cards had to be examined and some of them researched. When we finally got to the counter it took us about 30 seconds to check out our one item each. This kind of gross inefficiency makes me inwardly rage, tbh. But I doubted there was anyone at the store who could do anything about this absurdity. I was faultlessly patient. You're welcome. 😇🤣
