Tolgard Games

Marq and team are amazing, this local lgs is one of the best and only places in the region that does their best to provide a safe place to play and purchase tcgs and board games and warhammer. A+++

Have been going here for almost a year now. The owner and the employees really care about the interest of the community and its customers. It’s always had a welcoming environment and a very supportive staff.

I came in late on a weekday while they were running a game in the back. They were still incredibly accommodating despite being busy. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for in a game, but they were very knowledgeable and helpful about what I was looking for. They even suggested a couple games they were familiar with but didn't stock that fit my needs and gave me a few very helpful tips. I ended up getting a different game while I was there that was an excellent price. I'll definitely be back for more.

Tolgard overcharged my wife for some Magic cards for Christmas by over $100! I reached out to management with screenshots from other stores and price history for the past three months, but they refused to correct the overcharge and told another customer in the store at the time that they "Have to make money." Needless to say, we won't be spending our money in that store, and I urge others to research prices before just accepting store prices. They claim that MSRP is $210, which is "manufacturer SUGGESTED retail price" but that was on release over three months ago and they have restocked for Christmas. They offered to refund $20 to match what other stores were selling at release, not to match what over 130 stores across the country have their product listed at for Christmas. Tolgard is extremely unprofessional and are a prime example of why brick and mortar stores are dying. If you can't be honest about your prices, we'll just buy your products somewhere else. For example, you can buy it at Walmart for $111, or buy from Amazon for $100. MSRP is not what the product cost the business (that's invoice price, which is around $50 in this case), it is not what the product costs to make, and it is not what the product is worth. Don't get scammed by horrible business owners who rely on your complacency over prices.

Tolgard is by far my favorite TCG store around. When I started playing here, I was welcomed into the local community and felt right at home. The staff are wonderful and always go the extra mile to help me find products. They also ensure fair prices across the board. It’s nice to find a store that cares about the players so much. I wish I could give them 6 stars!
