Tinker and Tamp

Tinker and Tamp is an amazing buisness focused on community and relationships. You want to learn how to play a game and get started? There is an overwhelming amount of passion for a hobby of your choosing or someone to help give you a direction. The owners and staff are amazing people and the Third Place is a great addition to the local community. I cannot recommend enough to everyone who has an interest in any sort of hobby to give them a look, talk to the people you see, and ask questions. There are few businesses out there who care as much about the community around them as Tinker and Tamp.

Tinker and Tamp is the best place to go for all your painting and War hammer needs. Brett, the owner on that side is a wonderful guy who really works hard to help others get more access to the hobby while also not having to sell off their arms and legs. Cheapest place to go for buying War hammer stuff, for sure. I've been playing league over there for about a year and its been therapeutic for me to have such a great group of people to play tabletop with. Without a doubt the best thing to ever come to Cheney.

Have been here a couple times in the last few months. The figure side is cool and interesting and the guy is helpful. The card side leaves a little to be desired. Paid abt $90 for a shrouded etb. Which okay i want to support local so I purchased it. What really sucked is when they first opened i was told I would have to pay pack price to buy a booster box. They then said I could pre-order them from them and get a better price. Sounded wierd but fair. I call awhile later and they said they dont do that at all for pre ordering. Then I try and go in and buy a booster box (just one) and they tell me im not allowed. Saying they want to save some for the other ppl. Yet they let me buy over 20 packs individually and even opened a new booster box to get me more. They of course kept the promo card that comes with it. Very wierd. Then I go in another time and the shorter heavy set guy is rude to me and very passive aggressive. Sad cuz I really Wanna like this place Edit sense they responded. Yes some pokemon booster boxes and others do come with promo cards sealed inside the booster box. Which the employee kept. U dont get them with displays its in the box. Apologies if I didnt remember the price of the etb correctly tho all I know is my transaction says i spent a little over $100

We frequent this place weekly, and honestly, I can't say enough good things about it. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about building the kind of gaming community Cheney really needed. They’ve helped us learn how to paint minis and have taught us new games from scratch. We’ve played in tournaments, and they’re always willing to share their knowledge without ever making you feel out of place. It’s a space where all ages and experience levels feel included and encouraged. They’re truly some of the most down-to-earth, kind people we’ve ever met. Cheney is so lucky to have them in our community!

The guy with Warhammer stuff amazing he's great, but the card shop part... I bought resealed Pokémon packs and there were some fakes. I can't supply a place that's stealth from that community, the pokemon hobby has had it rough for a while because of people like that, but also feels like stealing when you sell single packs double the market value.
