Has a good selection of Pokémon cards, but the pricing on singles is absolutely atrocious. The price tags aren't updated (sometimes as high as 2x market) and never reflect market price, and are completely unwilling to price match TCGplayer market price which is the industry standard. Never sells new sets at MSRP which is also uncompetitive compared to Games People Play or One for All Games, and the trade values at 65% are uncompetitive as well. Overall, a nice selection of cards but terrible pricing and trade values, especially compared to other card shops in the Peoria area. I'd avoid.

The Zone is my favorite store to fulfill all of my card game related needs. I have been a loyal customer since the store first opened, was an employee for a time, and now help run Magic commander every Friday. Some of my fondest memories from the past few years are hanging out with friends at the Zone and participating in various card game events. I highly recommend the store to anyone in the area or passing through. There is a little something for everyone.

Just try to sell my ultra premium collection box and some loose cards. I was directed to go to the Pekin store which he’s not even there and I asked the lady if she could ask him how much she would give me for my ultra premium collection and not the loose cards. I get not doing the loose cards because that’s too much but ultra premium collection. You have four up there on your shelf. You know what that is if you don’t know how to tell a real or or a fake one if that’s what you’re worried about you you shouldn’t be working there. Terrible. You just lost out on a sale.

This place is full of fun stuff and tables in the back for live tournaments. The sell cards, figurines, and clothing with print of characters.

Comic book/board game stores are known to smell bad and not be aesthetically pleasing/designed well. This place is clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and they have a decent collection. A little over-priced but with the location and rent they probably paying I can understand a markup. I enjoyed my visit and my family has been back multiple times. I’d honestly recommend this place over Acme though both stores are great. You can really tell they put a lot of work into this. I hope they succeed.
