The Wyvern's Tale

My bf and I came in looking for a fun 2 player game for a date night. The employee that helped us (wish I knew his name!) was so kind and helpful. He helped us pick out the perfect game - we had such an amazing time playing! This store is so cozy and obviously a great community space. Couldn’t recommend this spot more!

Friendliest staff of any hobby store in the area, you can tell the passion they have for their job by the first conversation you have with any employee, offers a huge range of tabletop board and rpg games as well as a respectable miniature game selection and supplies. Also has rooms upstairs for events. I’d rate higher than a 5 if I could

A local gem! Full of great games, including some family and kid appropriate choices, games like the Ticket to Ride series. Well stocked for miniatures, Dungeons and Dragons, and other goodness!

I visited The Wyvern's Take while on vacation in Asheville. I found the staff to very friendly and welcoming. I browsed around looking for a couple minis I needed for my D&D campaign. I ended up purchasing a polar bear and a young White dragon. Of course a trip to The Wyvern's Tale without taking a dive into the bin of loose dice! I walked out with a few extra dice as well. I will be making this a stop every time I'm in town now!

This place is a gamers heaven. Used books with solid pricing. All of the new books stacked and in force. If you need something, they will almost assuredly have it and all of the accessories to go with. Every city needs someone as passionate and as knowledgeable as the owner. Their space is perfect for what they do and nerdy accents to make it very memorable.
