The people behind the counter didn't really seem to into making a sale. They were more interested in looking at a book and couldn't wait to get back to it. The person I was with was right behind me in line and was ready to pay. The guy went back and sat down even though there was a person with items on the table and ready. I belive the two behind the counter were the owners. It should be renamed to the card shop with some toy like items. I did find a card game to play for that night but the pharmacy in town had the same deck

Love this little spot! Lots of good little toys, plenty of which are open-ended and/or without batteries. Also have stuffed animals, surprising amount of board games, and even some LEGO sets. Island prices, though, so plan to pay a couple bucks more than your local Target.

Kid working there wouldn't acknowledge me. He was singing quietly while typing on his computer, while I waited for him to respond and then he simply walked away. At that point I put down the puzzle I was going to buy and left.

Aren’t we all children at heart?! It was so fun to browse this toys store today, new toys and some “old fashioned” ones. Love all of them. If you’re a game family, they have games too.

EDITED! New owners have taken over and are great! Excellent customer service, fun new toys and just all around a great shopping experience. Island local. The last 2 times I have been in this shop I have left without purchasing anything due to the customer service being extremely rude. This last time was the owner herself. I will no longer be supporting this island business. Piece of advice if your reading this - If you’re going to enforce a required county law, maybe actually read up on it first to know what’s allowed and what isn’t before coming at me the way you did. Thanks.
