The Time Capsule

I've been to many game shops in VA and Time Capsule is by far my favorite. The owner is kind and always willing to help. The store is clean and deceptively huge with many events for many different games. Also the only game store I know that you can get comics at. 1000/10, will keep going here to lose at Magic

Rick is the GOAT. Best cardshop on the east side of Richmond. Can easily contest Battlegrounds for the best cardshop in Richmond.

The guy who owns the place was kind enough to give my girlfriend and I our first MTG decks

Great little comic shop nestled in Hopewell! Have been coming in for a few years now. Rick is great and the dogs add a very inviting vibe. He has made a lot of esthetic changes in recent years giving more space to organize stock. Love the Funko selection and the $1 comics. Be sure to come through in May. Free Comic Book Day is a big deal and Rick has held family friendly events. Great place to come spend your money and time. And be sure to check out the growing Lego display.

Time Capsule has been serving Hopewell's comic and card game community for many years. The owner, Rick, is friendly and knowledgeable. He can usually order you the book you're after if they don't have an issue on the shelves. The store is stocked with accessories for games. They sell singles for Magic the Gathering. Time Capsule hosts events for different games throughout the week. They have regular strong attendance for Magic's multiple formats (and they are nice and will welcome you in to play with them!). The store also does Pokemon League, Yu-gi-oh, and Grand Archive. Plus there's a sweet shop dog, Link! I buy all my comics from Rick and go to this shop to play games at least once a week. Go check it out!
