Had to adjust story. Please read all if you haven’t been here before. Second encounter… Tried again a few weeks later. Again asking about Pokemon. (I understand it’s a table top store, but it’s not unusual to have TCG as they sell Magic and others.) After expressing they had no Pokemon in store, my love for the hobby and Keen eyesight for Pokemon Products new and old lead me to spot a whole box of Prize Pack promotional packs. Asked about them and was told $30 each. It’s as if my money wasn’t green to them. Purchased one for the thrill of the chase and noticed… It looked Resealed!! After running back in to ask to evaluate the rest of the packs. The owner was extremely standoffish and said; “no need for that I’ve been doing this for 20 years and got them from distro!” Hard to believe that statement, when these packs sell for about $60 and usually only go to card shops that host events. But hey he’s the pro. I’d avoid this shop if you’re a friendly collector expecting a friendly experience. Sad to say. New to the area and looking for a LCS. Stumbled on this place (within walking distance). First encounter was enough to pop my bubble of enjoyment as not only did no one greet me even after what felt like 5 minutes of standing at the check out counter. But when trying to make small talk about what I collect and would be looking for (Pokemon) they were visibly reluctant to continue conversation after expressing; “We don’t sell Pokemon here. Just a couple singles.” Even after explaining I was new to the area and looking forward to stopping by from time to time, they weren’t really welcoming.

I live nearby and went in with my wife one day to check it out. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me, were kind to me, informed me of the different types of events they hold for various games I enjoy. Their selection is great for D&D, Warhammer, and other miniatures. Not to mention TCGs like Lorcana and others. A fun place to hang out for sure.

Everyone here is so warm and inviting! We go for painting classes, Warhammer and mtg. This place is everything you could ever want in a game store and so much more. Sam is an incredible teacher and has mad vast improvements in my skill as well as my husband and boyfriend. It's amazing.

Live within walking distance and only just discovered this store is here. Stopped in while running errands, and nobody bothered to greet me, or even make eye contact. No attempt to acknowledge I was in the store at all. One person behind the counter was looking through some cards, the other clicking around on a computer for the entire time I was there. While not unfriendly, the overall vibe was that they just didn't care if I was there or not. One of the best reasons to shoo local is that local shops tend to thrive on individual attention. Treating customers like people, not walking wallets. Perhaps this is one of the many shops that makes their money opening card packs and selling singles online, and thus they don't need local support. Or perhaps they're new to things and are still finding their feet. Their selection seemed decent (I, personally would like to see more board games, and some sort of order to their games - alphabetical, by age group, something), and they did seem to have two or three groups playing what appeared to be Magic and Dungeons and Dragons. So, perhaps I merely caught them on an off day. I hope they are just new and will learn and succeed over time. But for now, there are better shops in the area.

Very cool card shop. Mostly focusing on Warhammer and Magic the gathering. They do have some retro video games and some Pokémon cards for sale but not a ton. Lots of open space for people to come in, play and trade. Seems new and trying to get their foot in the door of the world of Nerd. Staff was super friendly and easy to talk to.
