The Secret Lair @ Lake Chelan

The escape room was a great time with my kids. The host / owner was engaging and entertaining. It was my son's birthday and it worked out perfect. The facility looks like a great game shop as well. When we are back in town and the weather goes south, I could see us visiting again. Also a few good burger shops and ice cream in walking distance.

My daughter loves coming here to play games and learn about different games. They also have books and snacks. There’s a winery next-door that you can grab a glass from. I took a few of her friends the other day to do the escape room. And wow, was that fun! It was challenging, but so fun to see these kids all work together. I cannot recommend the secret lair enough! What a great addition to Manson!

This place is amazing! Board Game Store: They have an excellent selection of board games, from complex strategy games to party games to games for kids. Across the hallway, they have a large room where you can play games for free, and they have a big selection of games to play. They also have events in that room, such as Magic the Gathering tournaments. Book Store: The book store specializes in sci-fi and fantasy, but has a lot of different genres. It's a really excellent selection of books. It was kind of funny how many of them I had already read because of how well it matched my taste. Escape Room: I have done a lot of escape rooms and this (Ghost Train) was one of my favorites. It had a good mix of puzzle types and difficulties, and was well made so things would open automatically when you did something. We were in a group of 5 and we all really enjoyed it. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often!

No one in our group had done an escape room before and the owner, Sean, made us feel totally comfortable... yet intrigued and anticipating a challenge. We had a fabulous time and I highly recommend it! The entire store is wonderful. I didn't have time to take advantage of the place where you can play games, but the book store was incredibly well curated!

A surprisingly solid escape room and board game/game workshop store. They have a bar and an open playroom with free games you can try, with a pinball machine in the corner. There is also a bookstore tagged on the game store! Pricing is fair, and its impressive how much space they have managed to acquire and make use of over their couple years of operating. They sell mainstream board games like Chess and Catan, but also D&D or Battletech. They also sell game themed puzzles, Lego's, dice, game cards like Pokemon or Magic. I visit family here seasonally, and business here can be rough outside of tourist seasons. Best wishes to them as most businesses don't last long, but they have something good going that attracts a consistent local base but also taps into the peak periods of the year.
