The Platypus Party Card Shop

My son and I stopped in for the first time today after finding their social media page on FB. This shop is just AWESOME! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The selection is outstanding and prices are more than fair. What impressed me most is that they put my sons 3 dollar card in a top loader! It is a basic card to most, but they treated it like a thousand dollar card...to him it is... and it spoke volumes to me about how each customer is treated. That small gesture gained this shop customers for life!

I had the pleasure of meeting them at Gem Mint'd Card Show in Fall Church, VA. Super friendly. Excellent organization. Great prices! HUGE binders full of great cards! They sell MP, HP cards in binders too which is great for someone like me who doesn't care for NM. They also sell other random little things and a few sealed boxed. Sealed boxes are about market price.

I have made many trades and purchases at this shop, friendly people and environment and great products and pricing! Some of my pulls from different stuff I’ve picked up below

Absolutely love this shop. Its small but it is one of my favorites in the area as they have a wide variety of plushies, games, singles, packs, and other sealed TCG products. They prices and rates for buying cards is also some of the best in the area as well. I drive about 25 minutes from WV specifically just for this cute store. The staff is always friendly and we love to chat about our passion for Pokémon with them! If you get a chance to check out this shop it's worth it!

Absolutely hands down the nicest staff and customers! They are knowledgeable, friendly and take great care of the little folks. They treat my nephew like a rock star even gifting him cards and binders for his birthday!
