Took some friends to go get their first mtg decks today and there was an employee there named Evan, great employee, super friendly, knew what he was talking about, was able to efficiently help us as well as others simultaneously! All three of us greatly appreciated his help and how effectively he was able to help us make our decks.

So we just left Conclave Card Shop, and honestly… I loved my experience there. My husband goes in all the time, but I never really had before, and today I finally decided, “why not?” I should’ve gone way sooner. It’s hard to find authentic places anymore — places that actually have meaning behind them. The second I walked in, I was met with kindness from the guy running the shop. We ended up talking for a while about milling and discarding (which turned into a great conversation 😂), and for the first time at a card shop, I genuinely felt like I belonged there with other fellow card lovers. Nobody was weird or dismissive. It didn’t feel like anyone was talking to me just because I’m a girl. It was just people enjoying the game together, talking decks, mechanics, and having fun. All in all, easily one of the best card shop experiences I’ve had. Great prices, great atmosphere, and a shop that actually feels built around meaningful fun and community. Definitely looking forward to coming in for Commander nights ❤️

Great Game Shop! Went to the Edge of Eternities pre release last year and the Secrets of Strixhaven last night. Everyone there, customers & owner, is always super friendly and chill. I don't go often, but it's always a treat when I do.

This shop is great for packs and games like Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, and Magic, with fair prices and a welcoming atmosphere. Owner Joe Cook is a fantastic manager and mentor, and I love coming here on Fridays to relax and play Magic with friends. However, one employee is ruining the experience. He’s argumentative, condescending, and only behaves when Joe is around. His constant “you’re wrong, I’m right” attitude with no real discussion is driving customers away. It’s not Joe or the players—it’s this employee pushing people out. I love this shop, but one person is making me want to leave like others already have. Joe, I hope you read and share this.

I have been going to the shop for about a year now at least once a week. Over the last 4 months I tend to go 2-3 times a week to play Magic and D&D. During this time I have paid attention to prices and employee behavior. I think the prices are incredibly fair since the owner tries to keep it only slightly higher than what the card is worth online. Which is fair since you are paying those few extra cents instead of $5 for shipping. As for employee behavior: I really like Joe, the owner as he has been shown to be a man of his word as well as someone willing to learn. When I brought my (at the time fiancee) girlfriend who has autism he was incredibly kind and asked questions, but unlike others who do so in a mocking way he was trying to understand. Something he made known to both her and I. As for his employee, he is not perfect. He has a tendency to make mistakes as anyone else does. However, unlike most other people I know he apologizes when he realizes he is wrong, and it isn't just a "sorry" because he has to do so. He means it, and it shows. He changes his behavior when he realizes what he is doing is wrong and he does his best to make customers happy while also trying to get people to buy some more packs.
