The Griffin's Rest

I came in from out of town and picked up a bunch of Pokemon singles for my (just starting) Arcanine master set. Literally needed out about Pokemon for like 30 minutes and I left feeling ecstatic! I’m so happy with my experience. Next time I come into town I’m definitely stopping by again!

Griffin’s Rest made a good impression on me. The staff were wonderful, welcoming, and easy to talk to, and I’d be surprised if playing there was anything less than a good experience. The main downside for me was the pricing on Warhammer items. It looked to be right in line with Games Workshop pricing, which felt a little high for my taste. If you’re building a new army and trying to save some money, you may be better off buying from a larger Grand Rapids LGS. Still, this seems like a solid shop with great people behind it. For that alone, it’s worth a visit.

This place doesn't greet the customers at all! And when you ask a simple question they act mad and look at you weird. Also I had my kid with me and we were trying to get 2 poster boxes for OVER retail. And they said I could only get one. One per customer when I had my son that opens as well was wild. Especially being over retail. Maybe it was a bad day for them. But one thing is for sure, my experience was less than MID

Nice little store with a decent selection of games and accessories. The sales clerk went above and beyond and sold us the game we were looking for, directly from their game rental library since they didnt have a copy on the shelf. It was brand new and never used and they said they could just order a new game as a replacement. This way we could leave with what we were looking for.

A great little gaming store in West Michigan! They have a great selection of board games, figurines, card games, and larping equipment. The staff are fabulously nice and very helpful. They have a great upstairs space for games. I will definitely be back!
