The GOAT Card Shop

Apparently their not buying cards or taking trade in, and they don't have much for sale. Also charging $8 a pack for pitch black, which you can just buy at target, and that's where I think they got them in the first place. Looks like their just scalpers, which sucks because x9 games in Hadley charges $5 a pack, which is retail, so they're not scalping. I wouldn't buy a pack from these guys, they don't buy your cards, so what is the point of going here? Really got nothing going for them.

The owner has created a welcoming shop in Florence. My brother and I go often and we have never had a bad experience. This goes between the commander nights (Tuesdays and Fridays) or just stopping in to look for cards. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to jump start their collections or to expand their current one.

The GOAT is a must stop for TCG players, especially Pokemon TCG players and collectors! This is NOT a dark dreary hole in the wall with stacks of smelly rotting cardboard that no one is interested in, priced to sit on the shelf for eternity, with sketchy employees that make you feel uncomfortable. This is a clean, bright, upscale TCG player boutique! Awesome Pokemon tournaments with awesome prizes! Prices are super competitive compared to local alternatives like Newbury Comics, and the HUGE selection of single/graded cards are priced perfectly to beat TCGplayer.com and other card shops (rare and collectibles and TONS of affordable Pokemon deck building staples). Eddy and his daughter who work the shop have BEAMING personalities that welcome all and make it a TCG community hub, not just a store. The GOAT is at the top of our list for Pokemon events and shopping, and we live almost an hour away!

Just recently visited this shop for the first time and I can definitely say was worth the trip from Springfield. Amazing space, very organized and shop owner was very welcoming of me, my son and my friends! Highly recommend checking this place out for all your card needs! We will definitely be going here again for Pokemon leagues and supporting their business! Thanks for everything Eddie!
