The Gaming Vault

This store is awesome! Friendly owner and crew. Great community of game players. Has a wide choice of video games, consoles and accessories. I've enjoyed coming here for 3 years now! My go to for collectible card game events and finding the hard to find console games!

The Gaming Vault is an absolute gem for retro and modern gaming fans alike. Every game in the store is clean, tested, and authentic—no junk, no fakes. The owner is clearly passionate and incredibly knowledgeable about games, which makes shopping here feel more like chatting with a fellow gamer than just making a purchase. The store itself is beautiful, packed with vintage advertising and one-of-a-kind kiosks (seriously, who else has a Pepsi PlayStation One kiosk?!). The selection runs from Atari all the way up to PS5, all laid out in an easy, shopper-friendly way. Beyond games, they’ve got all the accessories you need to keep your consoles running—extra controllers for that last-minute Smash Bros. tournament included. Pricing is very fair across the board. Trade-ins here are handled the right way—fair, transparent, and with respect for the value of your collection. This isn’t GameStop; they take care of you. On top of games, they also carry Warhammer, TCGs, and tabletop supplies, with a cool campaign room in the back for your next adventure. I travel often and visit a lot of game stores, and The Gaming Vault stands out as one of the best I’ve ever seen. If you’re anywhere in the DFW area, this store is a must-visit. Be sure to follow their social media too—they’re always posting their latest trades and deals. Bottom line: The Gaming Vault isn’t just a store—it’s an experience.

I stopped by this game store recently and was honestly blown away. My first impression was that while it’s a smaller shop, they carry a really great selection of video games and TCG products. You can tell the owners and staff actually care about what they stock instead of just filling shelves. I’ll admit, it’s always a little nerve-racking walking into a new place, especially a card shop where you don’t already have a rapport with the staff or regulars. But the second we walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff went out of their way to help us, chat, answer questions, and even made sure we knew about upcoming Pokémon card releases. What really stood out is how easy they make it for actual fans and families to buy Pokémon cards. Big box stores have made it almost impossible lately, but these guys clearly care more about players and collectors actually getting product into their hands. My kids were absolutely hyped to finally find a place where they could easily get cards, rip packs, and enjoy the hobby without all the stress. Recently, I was hosting a LAN party with friends and looked around everywhere for a masterchief collection disc, and when I went here to look they didn’t have it on the shelves. I asked the owner Matt, who went out of his way to find it in the back when he didn’t need to. This is the care they bring to every interaction and I’ll always remember that. Awesome atmosphere, awesome people, and a great shop overall. We’ll definitely be back regularly. Shoutout to Matt and Alex. You now have a regular patron.

By far the best place for all your needs from classic games to new gen. to even spending your time here to play magic or any TCG games also very CLEAN by FAR from any other store I been to and family friendly! Matt the owner is by far the best! all his employees are just as great from Jared to Atip but there one that sticks out the most and that would be Ethan! or AKA Biggg ZaDaddy. jokes aside my favorite store in the DFW love them!!

Great selection of TCG and physical video game media. Even have an original Xbox display and GameCube setup in the shop. Staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. Have a ton of space for TCG playing and war hammer.
