The Game Closet

An inviting space for gamers! The owner is a warm person, who is enthusiastically welcoming to new gamers as well as more experienced gamers. I don't live in Waco, but this is a space I'd seek out again.

Absolutely loved this little find. Buddy and I were passing through Waco and decided a quick deviation to this shop would be a great opportunity since we live in the greater Austin area. Boy were we glad we did. I found a bunch of paint colors I didn't have along with some great miniatures at some pretty fair prices. It was an awesome experience.

Hands down the best hobby shop in Texas. Extremely welcoming no matter your knowledge on whatever you want to come in for. Always stocked and if they aren't they'll make sure they have it next time you come in. Store owner BJ is an incredible dude and I couldn't imagine shopping anywhere else!

Big side room for gaming which is very nice. Some board games and war hammer items. However it is extremely over priced in my opinion. Comparing same games at 2 different locations in waco they were continually $40 to $80 dollars higher. Example gloom haven $200 at one store $275 at the game closet. I understand making a profit but then there's just robbing people. The staff was very nice and informative though. Large magic and Pokémon selection.

Came in to this store while I was visiting Waco from DFW. Immediately was greeted by the super friendly and hilarious staff. I was perusing through their array of Magic the Gathering singles. I was not disappointed. They were more than happy to help me find cheap
