Staff at FQ is AMAZING! Love these guys and the community they foster. We play a game that is somewhat smaller(Cardfight Vanguard) and the shop is so good at communicating with its players about what they want/need. Cannot recommend this store ENOUGH!!!

Edit June 17, 2024 I came back today because I had a few cards to sell. Didn't realize today was a tournament for another card game, so it was pretty busy. Willis was super helpful and friendly! He was also very patient(I have more coins than cash and it takes me a minute to find all that I need)10/5 stars for the customer service! I probably spent around $5 because they don’t give cash for cards. Instead, cards you sell can be used as store credit for other stuff you can buy in store. They also only use 60% of the card value for that credit. I bought 3 Pokémon TCG boosters using credit from sold cards and money in my pocket. 40 cards out of bulk boxes for 1 dollar?! Yes please! They didn’t have any dragon shield inners that I was looking for. Unfortunately the Pokémon community around town has apparently decreased, so no Pokémon events for a while. I didn’t get to play any games but I was more focused on my cards. The amazing customer service was probably the epicenter of my fun. Overall hour-and-a-half well spent this evening. I hope Willis is working next time I’m there! I went in for about 5 minutes with my dad. I looked around the store while I was there. Nobody else was there so there was no reason for me to stay long. The employees were sitting by a table close to the counter on the computer and when I asked for help they were very friendly. I picked up 2 Pokemon booster packs and got a few great pulls! Will update the review next time I stop by. I’ll take pics of the store as well

Update: (I thought I wrote an update already) I revisited this store again back in Nov while down in Charleston. Seems the cons I mentioned before were remedied. And the store has put a lot more love into Pokemon! ❤️ They had tables full of boxes of bulk. Their price inconsistency I experienced between my first two visits was gone. 40 cards for $10 for anything out of the bulk boxes. Lots of commons but I sat for two hours shuffling through to find the trainer and item cards I wanted. I bought 200 cards and was completely satisfied. They were even selling the Miraidon + Regieleki V box that had just come out for $10 off of retail! I bought two! So happy with these guys I've bumped their stars to 5! Additionally, I liked that there was one of the employees there to keep the rowdy folks playing table top D&D in the corner that were using language that would make their mommas cry from driving off their customers. Kudos for that! I definitely plan on going back next time I'm in town! Original post: I liked this place for Pokemon TCG. First, it's a relaxed environment with plenty of tables set up for TCG play. It's active on the weekends while it's quiet on the week days. I wished I was around for the build and battle event to see just how many people play in the area. There's also some other merchandise that caught my eye but didn't invest too much time looking over. There's some PTCG card singles selection in folders, but I feel the focus of the store/employees is more on other card games. (MTG, YU-GI-OH, etc) There's some binders with singles in bulk and thats what I buy to build decks. However, it doesn't look like they restock or perhaps they're trying to sell everything out and move away from PTCG. The prices on singles are reasonable but was confusing. I went one day and the clerk gave me a great deal of 40 cards for $10 (didn't matter if holo/rev holo or common). I returned later that week and a different employee told me all cards are priced based on online pricing. I don't know what this clerk used to look up, but it wasn't crazy priced or anything. Most cards I was buying was 10 to 30 cents. I saved by this method on the cards I was getting. But I didn't buy as much the second go around. He told me that there had been some "changes" with store management and that the first employee was not supposed to do what they did. Oops. Hoping they are still doing business the next time I'm in town.

We stopped by here over a year ago with my gf out of curiosity since we are collectors and anime fans ect. At the time the store was stocked with anime statues, Funko, and even some really cool older One Piece cards. The employee during that visit was very helpful, showing us the diff cards and dice for D&D. The second time, I came alone…here recently looking for the new One Piece boosters (impossible to find in CHS walgreens). They had them in stock, prices were fair. This was during holiday time so it was a bit busy, they were also playing a game. So I wasn’t helped immediately but that’s okay lol didn’t bother me. I got what I went in for. Their stock of statues and merch did seem less. I personally don’t think the staff is rude? Maybe just a bit awkward lol which is to be expected. It’s a good spot to check out.

Ordered a case of Dragon Ball super card game perfect combination booster box case from this business and this is how they shipped it to me. Absolutely unacceptable and not willing to work with us
