The Dragon's Lair

The Dragon’s Lair has been a home away from home for the last 3 months for my husband. He has spent lots of nights playing Magic with all the guys and has really enjoyed his time! Joe is a great guy and I know my husband will miss him and the shop lots! If you need anything cards related go check them out!!

Great selection of cards! Very friendly staff all eager to help. Place had lots of people playing and still plenty of room for more people. I have made this a must stop everytime I come this way from Indiana.

Fantastic place to come play and hang out with extended weekend hours for you night owls. The staff is awesome and very friendly and makes you feel right at home. TONS of players come here to enjoy this shop on a regular basis and seems to be THE go to shop in the Fort Myers and surrounding area. Great community here with welcoming warm personalities and my go to LGS. They carry lots of products including sealed and singles! Come play and check it out!

I've visited The Dragon's Lair a few times over the past few years, and I've always had a nice time shopping there. However, today was my first time actually sitting down and using the space to play MTG. It wasn't too crowded or loud, the music was very good, and they had a nice variety of snacks to choose from. Even though I had a nice time playing, I do want to urgently bring attention to the bathroom at The Dragon's Lair. Since people play games here for hours, and they offer food and drink, I think it's also important to have a clean bathroom to use. Unfortunately, the restroom was incredibly filthy! It was evident that it had not been cleaned in an extremely long time due to the smell and how stained and dirty the toilet was. I found this so off-putting, especially as a customer who isn't male. It's a shame because we need nice spaces like this to have fun with friends, build a community, and support local businesses. But it does make me hesitant to return to play here due to the bathroom situation. I know some people may not care much about this, but the state of the restroom was honestly a health hazard! And I think that putting in effort to keep the space clean will welcome even more individuals to have fun playing games here.

My son has been visiting every Wednesday night at 7 PM to play Pokémon with other people who gather and he’s been having a great time. Although he’s a teenager and a lot of the people that attend are in their 20s or older, they have brought him into the fold and don’t treat him like a kid. It’s only a few dollars to play and it lasts a few hours so I would say it’s a good value for the money if you enjoy that type of thing. If you love Pokémon or Magic the gathering you should go check it out for sure.
