The Dragon's Hoard

Epic shop. One of my favorites in VA. And the staff is amazing. I got this pirate game that is a cross between bullshit and poker. I carry it in my purse for whenever you need or want a game. I plan to collect mini games now! And this duel octopus was a fantastic find. It's nice when a shop has little extras. Can't wait to check it out again soon! ⚙️

Best shop around. Rebecca is contributing to the culture and continuing Harry and Susan's legacy of being a safe place for all lost kids; regardless of background, race, intellect... Magic. D&D. Battletech! Warhammer. Munchkin. You name it, someone will play!

This game store is super inclusive and welcoming to everyone. There is a phenomenal selection games, both board and tabletop. The staff are so friendly and are the cherry on top of this amazing establishment. I cannot recommend this store enough!

By far and large one of the best Tabletop and Card Gaming shops in the area, and at large. There is a MASSIVE selection of board games, tabletop RPG supplies, paints, hobby supplies, and much much more. They have one of, if not the biggest Games Workshop inventories of any shop around, as well as good selection products of other franchises as well (Battletech, Dungeons and Dragons miniatures and books and more). They also have quite the selection of card gaming supplies and items as well, for Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh and even the Pokemon TCG, among others. If you want it and it relates to anything tabletop related, it likely is at the Hoard, which is something in and of itself. The staff and various locals are also very forthcoming and are very helpful for if you are looking to get into any of these franchises or hobbies. If you are in the area, or even if you are not too far away, The Dragon's Hoard is worth your time and commute to visit if you are into anything tabletop.

We stopped by this board game shop while visiting Staunton and they have a very good selection. We ended up buying two games here: Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King (Pandemic style mechanics) and Mysterium. The owner was helpful without being overbearing. He didn’t hover but stepped in naturally when he saw we might need help. Like, in our case, we were looking at the Mysterium expansions and I couldn’t see the base game and that’s when he piped up and said that the last copy had just sold but they had the 2025 version delivered that day and offered to open the boxes for us. Good shop. My husband and I like supporting local businesses and we do recommend this shop
