The Core

Long time, first time. Stopped by The Core this weekend and enjoyed Free comic day. Picked up some awesome retro titles (Garfield/Greatest American Hero) and a couple of new ones (Locke and Key/The Nice House on the Lake). Also decided to try my hand at a mystery box that was daring me to pull it out from under 2 other boxes. Can't wait to did in to all the reading a head of me. The titles were nicely balance between Marvel/DC and other imprints. The Black Ranger Funko was a nice surprise. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The Core has always done right by me over the years!

Out of towner making first visit and on back issue hunt. One of most organized systems yet. Very helpful and genuine people. Found (and spent) way more than expected but very fairly priced. Left some behind but hope to revisit next time im in cedar falls.

I stopped by The Core while visiting from Texas, and I was absolutely in awe! They have an amazing selection of manga, comics, a lot of first editions, games and so much more! I even discovered Ice Cream Man and The Sickness horror mangas while browsing, and I’m hooked! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Huge thanks to Zach for the exceptional service and for helping make the experience even better. You can really feel the passion and love for the community here. A must visit for any comic or manga fan!!! (:

Was just passing through while traveling snd stumbled across an amazing comic shop! Lots of cool finds, wide assortment of new comic and back issues, and well organized. Lots of tcg and board games as well as rpg stuff too! If I'm ever back in Cedar Falls, I'll definitly have to stop here again!

We drove up from Cedar Rapids to check this store out. We were impressed with the variety of games, comics, and collectibles! Mike, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the drive for us. We will be back!
