My group of 12 showed up on a Wednesday night without a reservation as our main restaurant fell through. It took about 25 minutes and a few mistakes for our table to get our (mostly non-alcoholic) drinks, though the staff was very sweet. The rollout of the food was also very slow, came out with a few errors, and wasn’t anything to write home about. I’m sure the experience would have been better if we were there to game (which we didn’t), and i know we were a large and unannounced group, but they felt ill-equipped to handle large-scale dining.

I was taken here for my birthday as a surprise and I couldn't have been happier! What a lovely place with SO many games to try and the food was excellent. The poutine was a standout for me as well as the Mac n cheese. Also they had a great mocktail selection which I really appreciated. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was not overly loud or chaotic on a Saturday evening even though most tables were full, many with children. Would love to come back!

Many vegetarian and vegan options, great communication about allergens, super pleasant patio, wide game selection. Seems like a fantastic community institution!

We were looking for something open for lunch on the 4th of July and found this gem as one of the places that was open. The service was friendly, they have a good drinks menu and the food is tasty. My son said “this is the best burger I have had in my life” then he went on to describe every virtue of the burger. He’s 16 so it had to be outstanding because we normally get grunts and one word answers out of him. If I lived close to here, I would love coming here to play games with my friends and family- they have an impressive selection! Thanks for a great meal and experience!

Perfectly chill, nerdy and accommodating. Progressive, LGBTQ friendly, dog friendly. Great variety of drinks, beer and cocktails. Insane amount of board games to play in house or to rent for home use. Lovely medieval decor And wall art. Wheelchair access. Patio seating available. Separate bar downstairs. And a secret hidden door to find!
