Super Dimension Gaming

Luke was amazing at explaining the games! Perfect stop during girls day and I now have the perfect game to gift my friend! So fun, amazing and family-friendly for all ages!

The Pokémon events at Super Dimension are amazing! My kids and I have done one pre-release event and two free open play afternoons on the weekend. The pre-release events are one of the better deals you can get right now for Pokémon cards. If you play 3 games during the event, you end up with 7 packs of cards for just $35. This past weekend my 8-year-old son brought his best friend to the free open play event and they played for 2 hours straight (no screens!). I played with my 11 year old and ended up pulling a $70 card from one of the free packs I got for playing! When it was getting close to time to leave I asked if they were ready to leave, his friend said “I want to stay! I love this place!” My oldest son loves playing Magic the Gathering, so we went there on Father’s Day for a Marvel Superheroes pre-release event and I lost my first game of Magic.

Absolutely love this little shop!!! The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable about all the games they sell. They also have some very cute handmade items! Just purchased quacks and I’m super excited to go home a play!

Came across this absolute hidden gem while in Wimberly. Friendly community, Awesome staff. Shop Owners and staff provide great community learning events for different Games and TCG’s. Would highly recommend stopping by.

We stumbled across Super Dimension while walking around Wimberley, and I’m so glad we did. My 7-year-old and I love games, so we had to check it out. It turned out to be a highlight of our weekend. Josh took the time to really understand what kinds of games would work for us and walked us through several options, pulling out opened games, explaining how to play and answering all of our questions. You could immediately see his passion and how much he genuinely cares about helping people find the right fit. They have such a great mix of games too, from local creations to well-known favorites like Settlers of Catan to more niche titles that serious gamers would love. We left with a mix of easy, family-friendly games and a few travel-friendly ones for me. While we were there, we learned about a Pokémon pre-release event happening the next day. My son has collected cards for a while but had never actually played. We came back, and Kyle spent time before the event patiently teaching him the rules and answering his many, many questions. His patience felt endless, and he made my son feel completely comfortable and excited to learn. My son was absolutely thrilled, and they made the whole experience feel welcoming and fun. I can’t recommend this shop enough. It is such a great place run by people who clearly love what they do and are building something special for their community.
