Steadfast Hobbies and Games

Great Hobbie, gaming, and collectibles store in Hot Springs. The store features a wide selection of D&D and Warhammer books and accessories, and the vintage comic inventory is extensive and well-organized. The store workers were very friendly and helpful as well.

I bought a LP base set 2 venusaur here a few months ago for 70$. I stopped by a week or two ago because I wanted to sell two cards as I just got a new phone and was low on cash. I also wanted to sell a near mint shiny lucario gx, which goes for about 65$ ungraded on tcg player. The lady up front called up a guy from the back who was playing cards in the back or something. He proceeds to tell me, Venesaur is alright, but its just a venesaur, and then hes like hmm the lucario is cool tho. He tried to tell me the lucario was 40 bucks on ebay, and when I told him I bought my venusaur from there for 70$ just a couple months prior, he said "it must've gone down in price"... It shows its up on tcg player... He offered me 70$ for both cards... absolutely wouldn't go up to 80$... Lesson Learned. I won't ever be back ever. The gentleman in the backs attitude ruined the experience for me. He was rude and in a hurry, clearly worried more about playing games in the back than doing business in the front. He probably does know alot about cards, but he clearly has little experience in the world being a professional If I would've just been ripped off for 70$ I probably wouldn't be posting this, but the fact I was ripped off 70$ and he was very rude sealed the deal for me. Won't be buying magic here anymore either. I'll just buy my stuff at walmart for msrp.

Great prices, the most friendly staff, cool little place I discovered while searching for a used Nintendo Switch for my daughter. We found exactly what we were looking for at a GREAT price and I was impressed by the overall experience. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved being able to get pokemon cards at msrp! The staff Is always very friendly and accommodating! I have brought a few lots of cards in for sale and was very happy with the outcome! 10/10 Recommend Steadfast! Will definitely be back! Appreciate you guys!

I LOVE Steadfast Hobbies and Games. We came to town just for a mini vacation from out of state and saw that this LGS was having a prerelease night. We’re so used to missing prereleases because coming from a bigger town, if you don’t sign up early enough, you’ll miss it completely. They were super patient with me calling several times before to confirm we didn’t have to sign up beforehand. We had a blast. Everyone is so nice. The store is really clean, organized, and though the overhead lights are a bit too loudly fluorescent for long term comfort, it was a cozy, friendly place to go. I already gave them a 5 star rating on Yelp previously, but Nick at Steadfast went above and beyond a few months ago. My boyfriend loved the Lorwyn Eclipse set that had recently come out, and on a whim, called them a few days before the prerelease to see if they would have any extra sets. Nick said he would let me know if they had any extras after their event and he ended up having 3. I was tempted to buy all of them, but decided against it since someone else might have wanted it. He mailed it to me the following week. I couldn’t have been more thankful—we brought those kits on a different trip to have a mini prerelease of our own. 100/10 one of the best LGS around.
