Sentinel Hobby and Games

Great place to shop for anything TCG related with really good prices, owner has always been extremely communicative and helpful, if you ever need anything TCG related this is the place to go to.

Only place I consistently go to for gaming and hobby needs. Owner is incredibly helpful and honest, the pricing for items sold is very fair, and the regular patrons for game nights are typically very friendly to all, newcomer or otherwise.

Visiting from out of town, saw they were hosting Friday night Casual Commander magic. I've never felt more uncomfortable and less welcome in a card shop before. Granted, I did show up a bit after the advertised start time but upon entering the store, there was no one up front to greet me, I stood near the front for a few minutes waiting for someone to approach, nothing so I walked in and set my stuff down at an open table, still essentially no acknowledgement from anyone, only awkward stares. I waited for a few minutes then packed up my stuff and left. I'm hoping this was a one off experience because based on other reviews, I was surprised by this interaction and admittedly a little bit bummed as I was looking forward to playing. The store is definitely more geared towards Warhammer which might attribute to my experience as I only play magic. Anyway, just wanted to share my experience and I hope I just came in at a bad time. Edit responding to reply: You must be mistaking someone else with me, no one spoke to me in store, had there been a conversation I think I would have felt differently. I wasn't expecting anyone to 'hold my hand' and introduce me everyone but I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I adjusted my rating as it seems this was a one-off interaction I experienced.

I dropped by on a weekend to check out some MTG product. Gabe was extremely helpful, transparent, and very knowledgeable. Found some product for a good price, and looking forward to making this my go-to LGS here in town. I can't even tell you how good it felt to walk in and feel like I've known the owner for years and being able to chat and just feel like I belong, especially with being new to the city. Looking forward to upcoming Magic events!

Found this shop for the first time on June 4th and had to check it out. The shop has stock of pokemon, yugioh, and mtg tcg's as well as a fine collection of Warhammer and accessories, if you are a table top gamer. The shop is very cozy and looks like a great place to chill and play your favorite game on any evening after a long day at work. The owner gave me the rundown and he is very kind and is willing to work with you for obtaining product or holding a table for you and your friends to play card games or tabletop wargames. Will definitely be coming back!
